Photo Inspiration Challange - My Entry

I used the sketch over at Just Magnolia - Week 64, and it turns out my card qualifies for The Pink Elephant too, whose challenge is brown this week.  This is totally not the card that I went into my craft room to create right now, but I was inspired...what can I say?

Happy Birthday

I made this card with the Just Magnolia Week 44 in mind, which was to make a birthday card.  It seems like I have a lot of birthdays in the coming weeks, so I'm making a few extra to have on hand.  This Tilda was inked up months ago, I just had to fnish her hair and shoes (how weird is that, colour an image except hair and shoes?)  I grabbed my CTMH Key To My Heart paper pack and went to work with OCC Sketch for Feb 27th. 

All in all, the card came together fairly quickly and after I was finished I realized that I also qualified for the Raise The Bar Challenge which is to use things in groups of 3. 

Today's funny kid story:  The little one who is 4 1/2 has finally decided that she is going to drink cold milk and so I told her that it was good for her bones and muscles.  That caused both kids to start showing off their muscles and flexing their arms.  The big kid flexed quite nicely and I commented that she had nice biceps and she replied "No Mom, I have girl-ceps!"  LOL!   Kids say the craziest things.
