Get Well #1

To participate in my fun photo inspiration challenge, hop on over here for all the details.

Here is the first get well card that I made for my friend.  The image is the one that I coloured for yesterday's card, I just couldn't get it to fit.  The layout is from Sketch Saturday, but I took a little creative licence.
I ordered this fun stamp from Pink Cat Studio moons ago and finally inked him up.  He is a super fun image, and with cold and flu season mere months away I'm thinking that I'll be making a few extra get well cards to have on hand.    Note I said thinking, not actually doing. :)

Today we are leaving in the late afternoon for Toronto for hubby to have some details scans done.  They aren't until early tomorrow morning though, so we'll arrive, drop our bags at the hotel and then go to my favorite restaurant in Toronto...Richtree Market.  Keep your fingers crossed it doesn't rain, I'm hoping to walk to and from the hotel to burn off the Belgian Waffle with lots of strawberries and whipped cream that I'm eating for dessert!

Stamps:  Pink Cat Studio Sick Billy
Paper:  CTMH Emporium, Buttercup, Sweetleaf, Twilight
Ink:  Copic Markers
Accessories: Misc. brads, Nestabilities Squares

Hope the scans all go well for your hubby, i'll be thinking of you.
If the food is as good as you say then you'd better get running not walking!! Enjoy

Love the layers...what fun!

My cousin always says that when you are scrapbooking there are no calories in the food you eat. So, when you are checking into your husband's health, maybe the same rule applies?

Enjoy your waffle with all the fixings. I know Oprah's peeps say that you shouldn't use food as a crutch, but I live in the real world & Boston Pizza's Chocolate Explosion cake always makes me feel better on a stressful day. Working out in the gym has never given me the same satisfaction as chocolate.
