Sparkles's Christmas Card Challenge - Week 30

Okay, I know...I'm late again. This time I have a good excuse though. I actually had my cards done on July 2nd...but forgot the camera/computer connecting cord at work. If I were a normal person, I would just run into work and get it, but I was headed out to camp with the family on the 3rd, and going in to work would have meant at least 1 hour answering questions/doing the bank deposits/answering emails. So...I am late again.

Worst part is...I did two cards! Sparkle had a great sketch this past week, you can find it here.
And here are my cards.

Both cards are using the K& Company Brenda Walton Peppermint Twist papers (these have been sitting on my desk, so they are what I am reaching for first). I used my Joys of the Season Cricut cartridge for the snowflake on the first card, along with some miscellaneous buttons. The sentiment is from the other side of the paper, I just cut it out and matted it. The image is from Whipper Snapper and he's titled "All Tangled Up". I snagged him from my friend Crystal over at SCS on the Canadian Image Swap...can't imagine doing Christmas cards without this swap!

My second card uses the same papers, with the sentiment from CTMH Say It in Style stamp set. The image is an Elzybell that I snagged from SCS. I got the ribbon on clearance at Michael's back in the spring and the snowflake is another of those fun foamy's from my kids craft stuff!

Now that I'm back to work and getting caught up, I'm heading over the check out Sparkle's Blog to see what this week's challenge is.

Stamps: Whipper Snapper All Tangled Up, Elzybells, CTMH Say It In Style
Paper: K& Company Brenda Walton's Peppermint Twist, CTMH Hollyhock, Blush, Sweetleaf
Ink: Copic Markers, Memento Tuxedo Black, Versafine Onyx Black (I like this for sentiments)
Accessories: Misc. Buttons, Ribbon and Snowflakes, Joys of the Season Cricut Cartridge
