Oh my goodness, it feels like forever since I have blogged...and it looks like it too! LOL. Things have been a little crazy here but slowly they are returning to normal. I haven't had much time in the craft room, but my Mom is coming for a 10 day visit on the 13th so hopefully that will score me a few hours alone with my crafting goodies.
I do have a card for you today that I made last week for a friend of mine who plays the guitar. When Bananastamper got this Edwin Playing Guitar stamp, I knew that I would use him one day...and that day happens to be today. Conveniently, I also had this great paper from 7 Gypsies, which I bought at our LSS DAT'S to add to my collection.
The music notes were cut out using my MFT Music Note dies..and the paper is Co-ordinations...which I don't normally use, but the colours were just perfect. I have such a hard time making masculine cards. I didn't want to use plaid or fish on this one...which made it especially difficult. Luckily, I was also able to incorporate the image inside the card.
I am patiently waiting for the stamp set to arrive so that I can finish my sample for my workshop at DAT'S on May 5th...as soon as it is done, I will post the final product...I hear there are only 4 more spots left! Yay, I'm so excited to be teaching my first workshop!
