Happy Scrappy Day Workshop at DAT’S

I'm so excited to tell you about my very first Workshop at DAT'S Scrapbooking!  To celebrate National Scrapbooking Day we've put together a 6x6 album

National Scrapbooking Day Celebration

at DAT'S Scrapbooking
Saturday, May 05, 2012

Time: 11:30 - 12:15 p.m. Cost: $5.00

6 x 6 Two Page Spread

Bo Bunny Sweet Tooth patterned paper and Bo Bunny DoubleDot in Khaki

To embellish this layout, we will be using CC Designs Spring Has Sprung stamp set, Cotton Ball White Fun Flock, CTMH Chocolate Brad, Prima Got Flowers in Pink, Spellbinders Classic Circles - Small, Classic Scalloped Cirles - Large and EK Success Zig Zag Chain edge punch and a corner rounder.

We'll be creating a scene with our stamp set, learning how to mask an image and overlap them. We'll use the Fun Flock to give the picture some texture and then we will use the corner rounder to make a cloud template, which we'll use to complete our picture. We will also be using Copic Markers add to our scene.

Photo Sizes: One 4 x 4 Square Photos.

You do not need to bring your photos with you.

Besides your regular adhesive, you will need a glue pen and if you have a corner rounder, please bring it with you.  If you don't have a corner rounder, one will be provided for you to use.

Sign up for all eight of the workshops being offered at DAT'S on National Scrapbooking Day and receive a coupon for 40% off of a We R Memory Keepers 6 x 6 leather album.

Please go to DAT'S Scrapbooking's Blog to see all the workshops being offered that day

General Workshop Information

At all of the workshops offered here at DAT’S, we ask that you bring your own straight cutter, scoring blade, scissors, pencil and adhesive. Your adhesive selection should include whatever regular adhesive you use to do your regular paper to paper or photo to paper adhering, glue lines, glue dots, liquid glue pen and 3-D dots.

Please don’t plan to share these tools with another participant at the workshop. Each participant needs to have their own basic tools. When you are sharing the basic tools, you are holding up the entire workshop.

We ask that you please be on time for the workshops. Late participants hold up the workshop for everyone else or make it more confusing when we have to repeat instructions to catch you up.

We suggest that you don’t wear your favourite blouse & dress pants to our workshops. Many times we are working with stuff that may stain your clothes.

Workshops Fees are due upon registration in cash only (no debit cards) and these fees are non-refundable. In the event that you are not able to make the workshop, you will receive the kit from that night. If there were any parts of the workshop that involved tools, stamps or inks that were shared at the workshop, it is up to you to improvise.

This is a great layout even without the technique part. I am with Lee-Ann, I can't wait to see the finished product when the stamps come in. The zig zag border is gives it a great Easter feel with the paper colours.

I also love your new profile photo. You look fabulous!
