Update and a Card

Well, aren't I just a horrible blogger.  I said I was back and then I disappeared again!  Well, I am really working hard at being back with some regularity now.  You see, I took on some home renovation projects and things got a little out of hand!  LOL!  But, now I have new flooring in my basement and a new gas fireplace will be installed next week.  Now that I'm going to be happy with the way my family room looks, I'm hoping that BananaStamper will come over and help me decorate a little this year to get in the spirit.  And, most of the grass on my front yard has been pulled up and replaced with nice fresh black earth.  The gardening/finishing touches for that will have to wait for spring though.  Funny, I'm hoping that BananaStamper will assist with that too...hmmm, I'm seeing a theme here!?!  LOL!

So, I have a card to show you that I made in the summer for my oldest daughter when she went to summer camp for the first time.  I've had this image coloured forever in my "coloured images" bin waiting to be used.  This seemed an appropriate time, as the mojo was no where to be found. The paper came from a very old pack of CTMH stash and the image was from a Random Act of Kindness swap.  The ribbon though, which I think pulls the card together completely is from i {heart} papers.  Love it.

And, my little Rock Star has lost her first tooth!  It is official, she is no longer a baby and I can prove it!  Of course, one loose tooth means money, but more loose teeth means more money so she's wiggling way at the second one.

I already have a few cards made so I will be working on getting photos of those taken and then will be posting them and cleaning out the craft room so that I can start in on Christmas cards.

See you soon!

Glad to see you back and hope you and your family are doing well! Love the super cute image & the ribbon is so pretty. Your little one is adorable! Once they get the first loose tooth they can't wait to lose more just for the tooth fairy visit :)

This is adorable, Danielle! Love the ribbon!

So glad to see you back. Sounds like you have been very busy! When you finish your home reno's, you're welcome to come do mine any time :D :D

Your daughter is so cute! She looks very happy :) My daughter hates losing teeth, even at 13. She needs someone to come give her wiggle lessons!
