A Treat For You

Holy smokes, I made it on the computer!  I can't believe that it has been 9 days since my last post...where has the time gone?  These are the last of the Halloween cards that I had made up a number of weeks ago.
The image is from Inky Impressions and she's just a versatile little fairy isn't she!  I can totally see myself stamping her up and colouring her for Christmas cards too!    The paper on both is Basic Grey and the fun spiderweb punch is from Martha Stewart.  My apologies for the quality on this second photo...I was trying to get the sparkle's and stickles to show and of course the card was gone weeks ago, so I had to work with the photo that I took.

I really do miss blogging when I'm not around here.  I frequently steal moments during the workday and check out blogs...and sometimes I even steal a whole hour and make comments...Shhhh...don't tell my boss!  LOL!  This week should be the last of the chaos for a while.

Munchkin turns 8 next Monday, so we are having a fun "friends" birthday party Saturday afternoon and the "family and friends" party will follow immediately after and will include dinner.  I've still not decided on loot bags, so help me out with some suggestions.  I'd like to keep it under $10 each as I have 10 of these to make.  The theme is Chocolate as the party is a Chocolate Spa party, hosted by a local spa where the girls will be making Chocolate Body Scrub, Chocolate Lip Gloss, giving each other Chocolate hand massages and we'll finish it off with a Chocolate pudding eating contest!  Great fun I'm sure, but I'd like to keep with the chocolate theme for the loot bags.

To give you an idea of what I generally do for loot bag, 2 months ago when the Rock Star turned 5, the loot bag was a "Movie Night in a Bag" theme - 1 bottle of flavoured water, a bag of microwave popcorn, a box of Smarties and a $5 gift certificate to a local movie rental place.  Voila, Movie Night in a Bag.

With Halloween the day after the party, I'm very conscious of not just filling the bag with different kinds of Chocolate.  However, the last 2 years for Munchkin's loot bags we've done either Bath Bombs or Bubble Bars from Lush...great, but with some of the same kids I want to switch it up...so help me out...what could I include in a Chocolate Loot Bag?
