Sit Back & Relax

Oh, this was a fun card to make.  This week's Mojo Monday Sketch #139 was my inspiration.  The recipient loves yellow, and with the weather finally getting nice I was ready to use some bright colours on my cards and these We R Memory Keepers Hippity Hoppity papers fit perfectly.  This card was a "made to order" card for my friend Anne. She has a coworker who is retiring and the girls are getting together for a farewell dinner. 

It was so much fun, I finally used my new Spellbinders Fancy Tags die that I got at i {heart} papers.  And, since the front of the card had so much going on, I moved the sentiment to the inside and added a yellow flower to finish it off.  And, it wasn't until I was finsihed that I realized I did the most crazy thing...I stamped my image in CTMH Black in, forgetting that I was colouring it, and then I coloured with copics...I can't believe that the ink didn't bleed more.  I am reasonbly impressed that CTMH paper worked so well.

Things have been extremely stressful here this past few days, and when I can I'll tell you all about it.  That being said, I felt so good making a card that is so bright and cheery...takes my mind away from things.
