Of all the Easter Magnolia's this year, this Tilda in a Bunny Suit is my favorite. She came in the mail on Friday and I waited all weekend to ink her up. And, I tried really hard not to "over ink" her, and keep her looking soft. Can you believe that I only used 3 marker on her bunny suit! BG000, BG01 and my Blender pen! I coloured her before I even had a project in mind, but once I saw that she matched my Imaginisce for Peeps Sake paper I couldn't resist.
The Challenge this week over at KL Stampin N Scrappin is to make a Box or Basket...and there is a prize involved so I just couldn't resist! First, I assembled my box with white carstock, then added the little panels and worked with each side like it was a card. I decided that since only 2 sides of my box were going to show at any given time (this will be sitting on our upright piano) I would create two sides and then just alternate them so that it looks the same no matter the angle. Take a look
First I decided on the Nesties for sitting Tilda on, then I worked out my sentiment side...then I repeated it all for the other sides.
When I was looking for embellishments, I came across this unopened package of Daisy's from K & Company that I'm sure I picked up at Michael's forever-ago in the sale aisle. They were perfect with this paper, and made my Easter Basket look that much more Spring-y!
I haven't attempted very many boxes in my crafting career, but I have to say that this one was actually quite easy to make. I can see making more of these in the future!
I will also be entering my creating in the following challenges:
