Santa Claus is Coming!

Well, the tree is up.  Things were crazy busy, so it was done in stages...but it's done.  We turned the lights on outside for the first time last night too.  But, what really makes it feel like Christmas is the -29 celsius weather.  LOL!

Today's card took me a whole week to finally get together.  My kiddo's usually get out of bed at 6:30 am, and I plant them in front of the TV for an hour while I get myself ready.  The last few weeks the little one has been getting up around 6, sometimes a little earlier.  I've used the extra time to putter in my scrap room before I start getting ready for the day.

The layout is based on Magnolia Sketch Week 33, and I really wanted to follow the sketch closely.  I just love this Magnolia stamp, Jolly Tilda.  The paper is from Cosmo Cricket. I coloured the image with my copics, of course!  And, I rushed to get it all glued down yesterday because the sun was shining and at 3:20 pm when I took this picture, the sun was already setting.  Did I mention that I hate winter?

Todays Question:  If you could transport yourself anywhere instantly, where would you go and why?  Okay, this one should be obvious, and I'm sure the answer would be different every day of the week, but today I would want to be in California...preferably Southern California.  When I was pregnant with my first daughter, the hubby and I were fortunate enough to spend a week in San Diego.  It was wonderful.  The weather was perfect, the people were friendly and there was so much to see and do.   Where would you go?

Stamps:  Magnolia Jolly Tilda, Santa is Coming
Paper:  Cosmo Cricket Jolly by Golly, CTMH Buttercup, Sweet Leaf, Textured White Daisy
Ink:  Copic Markers, CTMH Juniper (for the Santa is Coming Circle)
Accessories:  Prima Flowers, Misc. Buttons from Jenny, Lemon Ribbon from Michaels, EK Success corner punch to make my scalloped edged paper.

Your card is darling!

I've always wanted to go to the Bahamas. Brent said no for the honeymoon...but hope to still get there someday.

Great card, love Tilda! Hmm, France or Austrailia since they are both places I really want to see and have never been. A girl can dream...
