Love is Like A Butterfly

Hi!  I hope you had a great weekend.  I know, it's Wednesday, but I've been living a day behind all week, so really it feels like Tuesday.  Thankfully, not too much going on around here this week.

This is the last of the cards that I pulled together last week in my crafting frenzy.  It started out based on a sketch, but then I couldn't even make it resemble the sketch.  Well, now that I've put on the blog, I guess it "resembles" the sketch...a little.  You can find the sketch at the Sugar Bowl Blog.  I used my Basic Grey Urban Prairie Papers and CTMH Butterfly Wings stamp set, it was a Stamp of the Month back in March, so I'm sure it will be available for purchase in the next catty.  Anyway, I stamped it in Bubblegum Ink on Creme Brulee paper.  And, I inked the edges of the patterned paper so that they didn't fade into the green paper too much.

Now, I have a surprise.  I made a scrapbook layout...SHOCKER!  I know, take a minute....good.  Going on the same theme of  just do it, I actually did it.  And let me tell you, it feels damn good!  Not the best I've ever done, but it took less than 1/2 an hour and it's done.  So, I will be taking pictures of my layout and posting in the next day or two.  Perhaps I can make this scrapbooking thing a habit!

Stamps:  CTMH Butterfly Wings
Paper:  Basic Grey Urban Prairie, CTMH Cardstock - Creme Brulee, Juniper, Bubblegum
Ink:  CTMH Black, Bubblegum
