Sympathy Card

A guy who works at a company that we deal with a lot lost his Dad late last week, so I made this card for him from our office.
I hope that he likes it. Since I'm the only girl in the office (full-time, Wendy's here 3 days a week), the boys finally got to take a look at my work...and they liked it! Mostly, when we talk it's about boy stuff, or work. I call them "the boys" but really they are a group of grown men, all older than I am. We make aircraft parts, so they are usually wearing grubby clothes, covered in dirt, sometimes smelling of whatever chemical they were just using. Can you imagine them asking me "Did you do any scrapbooking last night?" LOL!

Anyway, I got this Verve stamp last week, and the timing couldn't have been better. I love how cleanly the stamps lay down the colour. I know that I am going to be using this stamp set a lot...it looks very versatile. I'm sure you'll see more of it.
I managed to get a few challenge cards done on the weekend, so I'll be posting them up over the next few days. Hope your Monday is a good one.
Paper: CTMH Emporium, Buttercup, Twilight

Beautiful! Love the colors and do I ever love that stamp set - I agree that this set will be versatile as well. Lucky me, I live up the street - I can see borrowing that one! :)
