A Grad Card

We don't really know anyone who is/was graduating this year...or so we thought. Despite my love of making cards, I rarely give them away...crazy, I know. Anyway, our neighbor Clint is graduating this year from College...but we're all mid-30's so I always forget that while we're at work he's at school.
I downloaded Grad Ian specifically for this card. The school colours are Royal Blue and Gold. I was trying for something really simple, as it was late at night when I was making this card...and I made it weeks ago. Come to think of it, I forgot to take pictures of my Dad's Father's Day card. I'll have to take pictures of it when we see him on the weekend.

Tomorrow, I'm going to have a fun Canada Day Card. For the last few year's we've had a BBQ at our place and invited our friends to join us...so much easier than going to an overcrowded venue with overpriced hot dogs and overtired kids! LOL! Anyway, we have BBQ, water slide, pool, big back yard, tents and fireworks here. The kids don't care that it's 9pm and only semi-dark. Plus, everyone goes home exhausted, but happy. Long story short, I made invitations this year and in true Danielle fashion I gave them all away before I took any pictures. So, I'll be calling Shanna tonight to have a short visit and photo session at her house, with her invitation! LOL!
