Just in case some of you still visit for updates on my Mom, she's doing fantastic. In fact, when she finally got to see the Cardiologist a week ago, he told her she was at 100% She doesn't need to go see him again. Basically, the heart attack was caused by the valve issue, and there was no damage to her heart. The bypass was done only because they were already doing surgery. She is not at risk for a heart attack now, and have 6 good open arteries. Because she was at the gym so often, her heart is very strong.
So, she's back at the gym and spending the day trying to figure out what she wants to do now that she's grown up!
