Carl and I were supposed to be there...but doctors work on their own schedules...and I understand that. Judi saw the doctor this morning while Carl and I were at work. He said that her valve problems is "serious" and that without replacement she'd be gone in 1 - 2 years, probably closer to 1 and that she'd go at the gym! Yikes. I think it is finally hitting Judi for real now.
The surgeon said that she could have surgery on Tuesday, but that she was one of the first one's that he's seeing from Thunder Bay. If there is someone who's care is more urgent than her's then he'll get her scheduled in the next 2 weeks. If there is no one mor urgent, then she'll have surgery on Tuesday. We'll know for sure when he leaves town in the morning.
If Judi is going for surgery on Tuesday, she'll stay in the hospital so that they can run all kinds of tests and make sure that she is ready for surgery. If not, she'll get to go home for a few days until they need to prep her for the surgery.
Goodness I hate this waiting.....
