Distressed!

Nope, nothing wrong today...but the challenge over at Paper Sundaes is distressing!  We're sponsored by Simon Says Stamps, so enter your distressed card for a chance to win!

My card uses ink distressing. I used a sponge and picked up some ink from a Pansy Purple CTMH pad and then swiped it over the edges of all my papers (that's 11 papers in total..it took a little time!).  The image was coloured a while back when I was trying to show the Munchkin that you can sometimes think out side the box when you're colouring.  The layout is from Sketch Saturday.

7 weeks and counting.  That's 7 weeks until the March Break here.  7 weeks until my kids are gone for 10 days with my parents to Florida.  7 weeks until I don't have to drive to skating 4 nights a week  and swimming/diving on Saturdays.  It's a big countdown at our house, can you tell?  LOL!

It's been SUPER cold here this week.  Friday it was -34 Celsius without counting the wind.  I'm ready for a little bit of warm, even if it does mean more snow.  So, send some warm weather vibes my way, will you?

Stamps:  The Greeting Farm, Amy R Stamps Birthday Sentiments
Paper:  Cosmo Cricket Mitten Weather, CTMH Seafoam, Pansy Purple
Ink:  Copic Markers, CTMH Pansy Purple, Versamark Black
Accessories:  Spellbinders Eyelet Circles, Large & Small Circles

Fabulous card! I love her hair colour.

It's funny, I thought to myself the other day that doing a hair colour that is out of the norm was going to be my personal challenge. Now you have inspired me even more with that challenge.

I fully understand your countdown. The only reason I got so many cards made this week for upcoming birthdays was because my daughter was at Kingfisher for 2 nights. She has activities 6 days a week with Friday nights off.

Ooooh, this is so fab! I LOVE her hair, love it! And the paper and distressing are perfect! I so forgot that the girls were going away for March Break - I so have to figure out what I'm going to do with the boys, maybe I'll take some time off....
Hope you are having a fab Sunday and that you get to sneak in some crafty time girl!
