Sparkly & Bright

Whew, it's almost the weekend.  Today started off a little late, and I decided to just give the kids a break and drive them to school.  It snowed last night and is quite warm, so they were able to build a snowman in our yard before I was ready to go...and on the way to dropping them off my Dad phoned to tell me that the buses had been cancelled.  The Munchkin was upset because I didn't drive them back home for a snow day.  Goodness, the roads were fine once we were out of our subdivision, so I saw no reason for them to stay home.

In the spirit of all this snow, I have a card covered in snowflakes today.  This was started months ago, and then hung around on my desk waiting to be finished.  I most definitely used a sketch, but it was so long ago and I didn't write it down of course.
I know that pink and brown aren't traditional holiday colours, but I just love them together.  You can't really see it, but the big snowflakes are covered with pink glitter, and they really do sparkle quite nicely.

I am going to enter my card in the following challenges:

Fab N Funky:  Goin' with the flow

Stamps:  Amy R Holiday Sentiments
Paper:  We R Memory Keepers
Ink:  CTMH Black
Accessories:  EK Success Snowflake Punch, MS Snowflake Edge Punch, Cotton Candy Stickles

Love these colours and the style of card!
We have snow today too but I dread it as for some reason Britain grinds to a halt when we see a snowflake of two!
