A Paper Sundaes Sketch

Hey there.  It's been a while hasn't it.  Hmmm...what's been going on here that makes me a delinquent blogger?  Life...imagine!  I started working 1/2 days a few weeks back and even though I thought that it would make for more time at home, the exact opposite is true.  I feel like I am always behind at home and at work...not just at work now!  Yikes.  Thank goodness hubby is at home with the kids each morning so that I can go to work and not get too far behind.  Plus, just thinking about back to school is stressing me out!

But...I was able to find a few minutes in the craft room to put together a card for this week's Paper Sundaes Challenge - a sketch by Crystal!  And, what a great sketch it is...super easy and very versatile...I will definitely be using this one again.
This week's sponsor is Paper Jewels.  Paper Jewels carries several different stamp lines including Spesch, CC Designs, Bildmalarna and Sweet Pea Stamps. Jenny's prices are fantastic, and she also offers free shipping worldwide on all orders over $50. And she's in Canada...so shipping is super fast!

Stamps:  CC Designs, Amy R Holiday Sentiments
Paper:  Oooh, I forget...Doodlebug I think...it was in the scrap bin, CTMH Sweetleaf
Ink:  Copic Markers
Accessories:  Stickles....green, red, gold and clear!, Misc. Buttons

Hello! How are you doing?!
I love your card, your colouring is amazing and i love the papers too.
Hope life gets a little less hectic soon, isn't it strange that the more hours "leisure time" you have the less you seem to achieve!! I'm sue there is an equation for that. Free time is inversely proportional to constructive things achieved or something like that lol!
take care

Wonderful card, Danielle! Love that Trevor, he's so cute, and I love the color combo with him!

I know for me, it's not how much time I have, but how much stress I'm under... I have a bad habit of 'shutting down' :x Hope you find some peaceful time to relax and have fun!

What a cute xmas card, the shinny stuff on the bulbs works well.
Take care, and stay calm, whatever doesn't get done today will get done tomorrow :-)

Hello!
I was thinking of you today. How are you?
Thanks for your lovely comment, the layout started out as something from Sketch Saturday but by the time i had finished (it was one of those cards that evolves!) it was unrecognisable and i didn't enter it!
Hope you are having a nice weekend
