Every year I tell the Munchkin that I'm going to make her a bookmark...and this year I actually did! I've put these together and I plan to include them in her lunch on the first day of school, so she'll have a nice surprise from me.
I took the pictures before I sealed them, as there would have been a lot of glare, but I would recommend using laminating pouches to seal bookmarks when you make them....nothing like a Jewel or brad getting caught and ripping the pages of a beloved book!
These bookmarks are quick and easy to make, and also make great additions to birthday gifts...and they use of little scraps of paper that you might have hanging around. FYI - my bookmarks at 2.5 x 6 inches.
Thanks for stopping by today. I spent almost 3 hours cleaning/organizing my scrap room today and I am so exhausted...which leaves me almost too tired for crafting. I'm craving my pillow and a good book....and since the kids aren't around I may just retire early and snuggle up with a book.

Love the bookmarks, Danielle! Those images are perfect! I bet it feels good to have your craft room clean and organized!
Great ideas for the bookmarks! The bookworm image is to cute! I need to make some bookmarks for myself as I have a horrible habit of folding over the page I'm on. I need to clean up my scrap area too but a nap sounds like a much better idea :)
These bookmarks rock girl! Fab idea! Hope you get some time to craft!
