Rubber Cafe Wednesday

Of all my stamps from The Rubber Cafe, I have to say that this Carousel Horse is still my favorite!
I coloured the image using the colours from my Basic Grey papers, and then matched up my CTMH cardstock and started creating.  I love how bright and cheery this card is.  The flowers are Prima and I was amazed to find that I actually had flowers that matched this colour.  The buttons were a last minute addition...I only had Big brads in the correct colour and nothing else looked right for the small flower, so I grabbed my buttons and glued them on.  I finished the flowers off with some stickles to give it a little sparkle and then added a shiny gem to the top of the pole.  I think if you click on the picture you'll be able to see these details better.

I have to tell you that I made this card with no challenges in mind...can you believe that?  Creating for the sake of creating!?!  LOL!  I see that it meets the criteria for Raise The Bar though, which is to use items in groups of three, so I'm going to link up to that challenge.

Tomorrow, I'll have pictures of the hats that I've knit over the past 3 weeks.  3rd time is a charm and it finally fits!  Can't wait to take pictures of my girls to show of the hats - and show off my girls of course!  Have a great Wednesday!
