Paper Sundaes Sketch Challenge

Move over Valentine's, Easter cards are all the rage!  LOL! 

This week at Paper Sundaes Challenge Blog, we've got a great sketch to work with.  I used a digital stamp called Bunny Pocket Patootie from The Stamping Boutique, who are sponsoring this weeks Challenge. to make my first Easter card of the year.   First, I stamped him 3 times.  On the first image I cut out his pocket and coloured it in.  On the second image I cut out his body and arm.  The third image I cut out completely.  Then I glued the coloured pocket onto the complete image, and I pop dotted the bunny's body on to the same image.  I coloured it all up with my Copics and then added a little Flowersoft to the carrot tops.

Finally, I stamps my sentiment and voila, my first Easter card!  I have to say, this sketch was so easy to work with I'm putting it into my sketch book for future use! 

On a side note, I did finish off the little one's hat, but of course, it is too big.  Luckily it fits the big kid perfectly.  And, since the pattern was fairly simple I started a new hat for the little one, but made adjustments for her small head.  I'm just over 1/2 finished now so keep your fingers crossed it'll be done today.  She keeps bragging about how the daycare provider can make a hat in one night, and then inquires about why I can't do that!?   Could be that the daycare providers two boys are in their early twenties and she can sit and knit all night uninterrupted...just sayin'!

And, the secret project is finished and submitted.  I'm not sure when I'll be able to do the big reveal, but I'll keep you posted.  And, I have another big secret that I'll be able to tell you about on Monday, so be sure to check back for the big news!
