Wow! Can you believe it is the end of January already! I have to say, thank goodness because it means that warmer weather is on its way! And, it means that Paper Sundaes Challenge Blog is on to Week 3! If you haven't already, hop on over there to see what the other DT members have created. This week's challenge was to Create A Valentine. And, our sponsor this week is Paperworks Co. Be sure to head on over to her store and check out the fabulous stams and supplies that she carries. And, be sure to participate in the Challenge...everyone who enters at Paper Sundaes is eligible to win a $25 Gift Certificate to PaperWorks Co! All you have to do is create a Valentine and link your card to the Challenge Blog!
I was fortunate enough to be able to use Jacob's Table For Two this week...and he is just adorable. He was super nice to stamp (very deeply etched fine lines) and a dream to colour. My favoritie thing is that the table cloth and chairs were very easy to Paper Piece...I love when the scene matches my papers!
I used Monday Mojo Sketch #123 as my inspiration and the papers are Imaginisce. I made this one with my oldest daughter in mind. I think I'll write "...in my heart" on the inside to continue the sentiment on the front. I know she'll love it as she was all giggly when she saw the rubber on my table!
Funny story...the things we'll do for a nice looking card. BananaStamper and I live so close that we often share stamps. I stamped a few images of this guy and then passed the actual rubber to her to use at home. Well, doesn't Thursday night come, it's -25, but feels more like -34 with the windchill (according to the weather man) and I decide that I just NEED to paper piece the table and chairs. Thank goodness it was dark at 9pm as I ran between my house and hers (really only 5 houses) in my bright pink flowered feetie jammies, my husbands winter coat, a red, white and black Olympic "Canada" touque and my Knee high Sorels! What a sight! Should have gotten a picture! LOL! Oh, the lengths we'll go to to make the perfect card!
