Well, if you know me, you know I'm not big on Valentine's Day.  Mainly that is because my husband has never believed in it, and so why set yourself up for disappointment every year?  So, we just pretend it's another day around here.  Except...I let the kids have some fun with it.  The last 2 years, my now 7 year old has gone on a "date" with the same friend who is a boy.  This year, the 4 year old is having a few friends from daycare over to make heart shaped Pizza's and decorate heart cookies.  I'm making invitations and finalizing plans this week, so I'll have those to show you soon.

But, while I had out the Valentine's goodies, I made up this card using Taylored Expressions Sketch #97.  What a fun and easy sketch.  The image is from The Greeting Farm, and it's digital so I was able to make it a little bit smaller than I think it would be on rubber.  I coloured it with my copics, and then wrapped it all up in a ribbon.  The sentiment is from My Favorite Things and I have to tell you, the Essential Sentiments set from MFT is now my "go to" stamp set.  I've used it for so many different cards!  The paper is Bo Bunny Love Bandit and I purchased it at The Scrapbooking Cottage...she's got this paper for 30% off during January, so get over there and buy some!

Happy Monday.

Stamps:  The Greeting Farm, My Favorite Things Essential Sentiments
Paper:  Bo Bunny Love Bandit, CTMH Tulip, White
Ink:  Copic Markers, Versafine Onyx Black
Accessories:  CTMH Baby Pink Ribbon, Cuttlebug, Nestabilities

Very cute, great card! I'll have to pop over and check out those papers on sale, yum!

My hubby can never remember when Valentine's Day is! Hard to believe you could miss it, since it never changes, and all of the promotional stuff all over!
