Dressy Ebony Birthday

If you haven't taken a hop around the Paper Sundaes DT Blog Hop, then click on over there and enter for a chance to win lots of blog candy! And, don't forget to leave a comment on this post, to be entered for my personal blog candy!  Contest ends 5pm EST Saturday Jan 16th.

Wow, what an exciting day it has been.  My oldest daughter has been nominated by our Skating Club for CanSkater of the Year!  What an honor!  And, she's been moved up to the next level, so she'll be skating with some older kids and learning some new tricks!  So exciting, for her and her proud Mom!

But, after a stressful day, I needed to get into my scrap room and make something.  This sketch over at Inspirational Card Sketches got the juices flowing.  I used some older My Mind's Eye paper and pulled this Ebony image from my stash of "coloured" things.

See, I find that hair is the hardest thing to colour.  So, when I have a few extra minutes, I pull out the markers and colour hair...then when I need an image for a card all I have to do is colour the outfit to match the paper.  Now if only it were that easy when I was getting ready for work in the mornings!  LOL!

My card also qualifies for the Colour Challenge over at Twilight Tuesday and for the Pink Elephants Challenge 49

Stamps:  The Greeting Farm Dressy Ebony (digital), StampingBella Happy Birthday
Paper:  My Mind's Eye, Misc. Scraps
Ink:  Copic Markers, Versafine Black Onyx
Accessories: Assorted Prima Flowers, Misc. Brad and Gems from the dollar store!
