Happy Holidays

Another Christmas card today!  And, now that I've been posting my cards in sequence, I can see a Happy Holidays theme, rather than Merry Christmas...I wonder why?  Hmmmm.

The Layout for today's card is from a Sweet Sketch Wednesday...but I'm a week late.  The same usual suspects, Lily in a winter coat, Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses paper and copic markers.  But...if you click on the picture you'll see more detail and then you'll see that I used some poweder blue Fun Flock on her hat, scarf and muff.  I also used some Shimmers on the snowflakes, which were punched on white paper.  Thanks so much for looking today.
Teacher interviews were last night....the kids are doing well, thank goodness.  And, of course they were running late (I'd rather they be late and I get all my questions answered than be left wanting to ask questions, but run out of time) so we didn't get home until 7pm.  Rather than cook I ordered Pizza, we did homework and the kids went right to bed.  But, just before they went to bed my eldest looked at me with a serious look in her eye and asked, "Mom, Are we even having a Christmas Tree this year?".  Yikes...looks like I better get on the Christmas tree thing.  I promised it will be up before the weekend is done.  Pinky Promise!

Such a cute card! I love her blue and pink outfit.

I tend to do more Happy Holidays too...just don't want to offend peeps you know. Nowadays people take things too seriously sometimes.

Great card, Danielle!

We're really behind on Christmas stuff this year too, I'm not sure what will get done. At this point I would settle for the tree, a couple presents for the kids, and a clean house! (I wish!)
