Happy Monday! Back to work, and school. Thank goodness. Although the weekend was good, it was super busy. I did manage to have our sitter come over and take the kids out for a few hours while the hubby was at work. I used that time to shut the door to my craft room and get some work done!
The first project I worked on was a new card for The Rubber Cafe. Our DT Coordinator issued a challenge last week to use the New Christmas Stamps from The Rubber Cafe and make a card with the colours pink and blue. I used the new set Magical Ball, which includes the Snow Globe and little snowman. After I stamped the Globe, I coloured in the background with the lightest blue copic that I have B0000. I stamped the snowman on the Globe, then stamped him again on another piece of paper and pop-dotted him on the globe. The sentiment is from the new Baby I'ts Cold Outside set, which includes a larger version of our snowman friend. I hope that you like it.
Somtimes, all it takes is a little time alone when you aren't exhausted! I managed to make 6 cards and 6 pages of a 6x6 album in my 4 hours alone. It was bliss!
Even though there hasn't "officially" been any snow here in Thunder Bay, it's only a matter of weeks before we're covered in the white stuff. I can't wait for it to snow, because everything looks so pretty and it means that Christmas is coming, but I despise the cold. Catch 22 there, can't have one without the other. Luckily, I got a new Winter Jacket this year, so I should be toasty warm!
