Non-Traditional Christmas Card

Continuing with my "Challenges" theme, I hopped over to Inspirational Card Sketches and found Sketch #34, and by golly, it inspired me!  LOL!

I've used this stamp before - her name is Snowflake.  I received this image from the Canadian Image Swap at SCS.  I just love her, and if I could find that actual stamp I would buy her.  I used the Emporium paper from CTMH, and I love how busy the card is, but you still focus on the image.  Nothing "Christmassy" about this card, that's for sure, but somehow I like it.  They don't all have to be red and green, right?!

Last night, I convinced (read: screamed until he did it) the hubby to take the TV out of the living room so that we would just have one.  The kids were a little freaked out by it this morning, but they'll get used to it.  I know, you're thinking, why on earth would she do that?  I have such a hard time getting the kids to do things because they "just have to see this" and they are only 4 and 6.  If it were up to me, we wouldn't even have a TV...okay, that's extreme.  We'd have a TV, bit it would only play movies.  :)    Speaking of movies, I'm taking the kids to see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs tomorrow, and we have 2 birthday parties this weekend.  Plus, it's Friday, so I may be able to lock myself in my craft room for a few hours tonight!  LOL!  Have a great weekend.

Stamps:  Elisabeth Bell - Snowflake, CTMH Say It In Style
Paper:  CTMH Emporium, Buttercup, Cocoa
Ink:  CTMH Black, Copic Markers
Accessories:  Cuttlebug and Swiss Dots Folder
