2 Brides in Orange and Fuchsia

Confused? Well, my good friend Allyson emailed me a few weeks back knowing that I love a challenge. She was attending a wedding with 2 brides..no biggee..the colours are orange and fuchsia...hmmm, that's a challenge! So, I searched the net for an appropriate image of 2 brides..none to be founds. Then, I played with a few images of my own, but I wanted the card to be classy and unique...not in your face 2 brides, if you know what I mean. This was going to be a bigger challenge than I thought.

So, then I had a stroke of genius! (Yes, I'm bragging!) I pulled out my Stamping Bella Hitchedafellabella stamp and spent the next 2 hours perfecting the art of masking an image. Many pieces of paper, stick notes and much ink was sacrificed in the making of this card! LOL! But, I finally got it right. Take a look! I was so afraid that I wouldn't be able to duplicate the image that I didn't even colour it. GASP! But really, I think it looks good without the image coloured. I used SU paper, and I'm sure that my "orange" is really some kind of Apricot colour. I finally got to use the great Prima Flower that I put all that Shimmerz on, just to see if it would wilt, and it didn't! I am officially in love with Shimmerz! Now, I just have to give it to my friend...who took off for the wedding without the card. I hope she likes it. I think I'm more worried about her liking it than anything I've done in a long time. But boy, do I like a challenge!
P.S. I think I'm going to email me card to Emily over at StampingBella in hopes that she'll create a Hitchedabellabella stamp so I don't have to work so hard next time!
