Judi went to surgery at 2pm this afternoon...finally. We were getting updates about every 45 minutes from a really nice nurse (and that's her job, to update families). But, she went home at 5 pm. So, she told us that it would be a few more hours and then she would be done. We are to wait in the OR waiting room until the doctor comes to talk to us. Then, we have to wait another 1/2 hour until we should go to the ICU and see if they will let us in to see her. Waiting!
I will be sending out an email to everyone once the procedure is done and she is in the ICU.
